5. Distort the origin and cause of sin
5. Distort the origin and cause of sin
Romans 5:12 "Therefore, just as through
one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and so death spread to
all men, because all sinned."
The Greek word di means through. Therefore, it is said that through one
man sin entered the world, and through sin death entered.
The fact that sin entered the world means that sin already existed
somewhere, not in the world. The first sin is mentioned in Jude 1:6: "And
the angels who did not keep their own position but abandoned their proper
dwelling, he has kept in everlasting chains under darkness for the judgment of
the great day." This means that there was a sin of the angels who sinned
in the kingdom of God. This sin is that the sinful angels wanted to become like
God, so they opposed God and abandoned their position. So God confined them in
darkness, and this darkness is the human body.
The first man Adam is Christ who appeared in the world to give people a
body of sin. In Colossians 1:15, “He is the image of
the invisible God, the firstborn of every creation.” All creation
refers to a man and a woman separated from the first man Adam. The image of God
refers to a person who has a spirit. Therefore, the spirit of the angel who
sinned in the kingdom of God entered the man and woman who were transmitted
through the first man Adam, who are Christians. And death entered through the
body of sin, which means that all people died toward God. This means that the
spirit imprisoned in every body is dead. Therefore, they became idols.
In the temple that God established through Christ, the idol of selfish
greed is acting as the master.
God created the Garden of
Eden and placed the first man, Adam, in the Garden of Eden, and made him fall
asleep to create a man and a woman. The first man Adam (Adamah) and the man
Adam (name) are different beings. Translating it as the first man Adam causes
confusion with the man Adam. The first man Adam is Christ, but the man Adam is
a person (man) who has the spirit of a sinful angel. The fact that he fell
asleep means that the first man Adam disappeared and the man and woman
appeared. And the man and woman committed a sin in the Garden of Eden. Although
they are the spirits of sinful angels in the kingdom of God, they committed the
sin of wanting to become like God in the Garden of Eden. That is why God made
the man and woman leave the Garden of Eden.
Man and woman who came into
the world gave birth to children and passed on the body of sin to them. So the
body of sin was passed on to Jesus Christ. Romans 6:6 “For we know that our old self was
crucified with him so that the body of sin might be done away with, that we
should no longer be slaves to sin.” Jesus chose the method of atoning death to break
the chains of the body of sin. This was predetermined before the creation of
the world. As in the parable of the prodigal son, God knew that there was no
other way to save the sons of God (the angels who sinned) who were thrown into
the world. God Himself became Christ and died atoning death.
When Jesus died on the
cross, he said, “It
is finished.”
John 19:30 “When
Jesus had received the vinegar, he said, ‘It is finished.’ Then he bowed his head and gave up
his spirit.”
God gives grace to repentant
sinners. He gives the gift of resurrection to those who realize that the death
of Jesus Christ is the death of repentant sinners. Jesus died on the cross with
a physical body and was resurrected with a spiritual body. So, those who died
in union with Jesus can be united with the resurrected Jesus, wear a spiritual
body, and return to the kingdom of God.
Those who participate in the
resurrection will have the old temple destroyed, a new temple built in their
hearts, and Jesus will return to that temple, enter it, and be present,
becoming the masters of the saints. This is also called the restoration of
Eden, or the third heaven, or the millennial kingdom. In other words, it is
establishing the kingdom of God in their hearts. Therefore, Ephesians 2:6 says,
“And raised us up together,
and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus.” The body is in the world, but the
spirit is seated in heaven.
Jesus said that even though the saints are in Christ, there are
believers who do not believe. John 16:9, “Of sin,
because they do not believe in me.” There are those who
believe that the resurrection is the resurrection of the dead body, and there
are those who believe in their own thoughts, such as that they must repent of
their sins and be forgiven every day. This is a sin that blasphemes the Holy
Spirit, and it is an unforgivable sin.
